Greeting from the director

How Acupuncture and Rotation Are Well Suited

I believe that by improving mobility we can go a long way in trying to cure disease. Movement is a primal instinct for all animals and an impairment in our ability to move can become a precursor to other disease and / or sickness while, on the other hand, being able to move unhindered in any way can be seen as proof of one`s optimum health.
From an acupuncturists standpoint, and after working on physical mobility for many years, it is clear that the body`s chain of rotational movement depends largely on the network of muscular fascia. I have therefore developed methods of acupuncture and physical exercise which can affect the fascia and thus help overall rotational mobility.

With the help from the ball-joints at the shoulders and hips, any rotation that necessitates movement in excess of the range of motion (ROM) of a particular part of the body will cause other, more proximal joints to make adjustments. Any rotation, therefore, of the arms or legs will then affect the torso, head and finally, the eyes but, in trying to maintain upright the body naturally twists at key areas.
Our body`s fascia`s triple helical structure (with it`s large collagen content) plays a significant role in the body`s (ie. the fascia`s) ability to perform this chain of rotational movement.

This kinetic chain of rotation can easily be affected by unhealthy lifestyles or other outside influences which cause either atrophy or adhesion of the fascia. This then leads to the breakdown of our kinetic chain. By fully understanding the body`s system of interlinked rotational motion we can administer a remedy.
With this purpose in mind, Dynamic ROTO therapy was established as a means of improving the body`s interlinked chain of rotational motion. Dynamic ROTO Therapy combines delicate methods of acupuncture with movement during treatment and also has at it`s core elements of rotational exercise. The efficacy of Dynamic ROTO Therapy will, with the help of the research department at an overseas university be published in short time.
I sincerely hope that, with the invaluable help of like-minded people and generous support from various institutions, the public will be able to access Dynamic ROTO therapy more freely and easily. If you would like more information please feel free to contact us.
